The West Midlands has been crowned as the fastest growing region for tech in the UK. Its success shows no signs of stopping, with the government projecting an increase in the West Midlands tech industry and 52,000 new digital roles created over the next 4 years.


Birmingham is now recognised as a tech industry hot spot after several years of accelerated tech growth, boasting the highest salaries for new tech vacancies in the region.


Data Architects come top of the pack with a base advertised salary of around £76, 000. Other high earning roles include Technical Architects and Python Developers, who can earn anything between £63,000 and £74,000.


To make it even better, Birmingham has been recognised as the second city for cost-of-living vs tech salaries.
