One of the UK's fastest growing software houses is looking to start a new team and need a key hire to become a leader. They are looking for a graduate (1st class or 2.1 degree minimum) to kick start the desktop support team for internal customers. This is also a springboard for your career.
The role
First line support for internal technical issues
Maintenance of workstations and servers
Automation of processes using Power Shell
Usage and implanting of virtual environments
Maintenance and support of office IT infrastructure
Administration of hosted services and databases
Manage the virtual desktop environments
You will be given early responsibility for discrete projects.
The ideal person will have
Graduate with a 2:1 or above (Computer Science, Maths, Physics or Engineering) and strong A-levels
Knowledge of SQL and / or Database concepts and technologies
First-rate problem solving ability
Excellent communication skills
Team player
The ideal candidate would have some knowledge of any of the below technologies:
Experience administrating Windows Server systems
Understanding of DNS, DHCP
Knowledge of TCP/IP protocol
Experience in maintaining hosted services
