Successful software house offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced Software Support Engineer to join a dedicated team of staff responsible for the support, development and implementation of the product. The ideal candidate will come from an IT background and have at least 2 years experience in a relevant role.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide product and technical support for end users and colleagues
  • Provide remote customer service
  • Liaise with other technical teams in order to resolve problems with software products and customer issues in a timely manner
  • Management of minor projects assigned through to implementation
  • Provide On-call support to key clients on a Rota basis

Essential:

- IT Background
  • Keen attention to detail and technical proficiency
  • Self motivated and directed
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment

Desirable:
  • Proven experience in Application support or a similar role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft SQL server and SQL Database interrogation
