Our client, a Midlands-based software development company is looking to hire a Product Owner to champion the delivery of their bespoke, award-winning software systems. The company is a Microsoft-partnered business with over 15 years of creating and delivering quality software solutions to their wide array of customers. The candidate will be expected to work alongside the Product Manager and stakeholders in order to help deliver the company's product vision. As well as this, you will be expected to grasp the needs of customers and market sectors in order to best support the decisions made by the company. The ideal candidate must be able to showcase their strong communication ability, management ability and relevant commercial experience.

- Understand the needs of the customer and the market in order to mold product features and company direction.
- Consider the needs of customers when informing decision making.
- Work in tandem with the Product Manager and stakeholders to produce detailed requirements, prototypes and to champion the product vision.
- Remain customer-focused, while adhering to the company's development objectives.
- Monitor product metrics to support decision-making.
- Support clients, and produce product documentation.
- Support Sales and Marketing teams to improve company prospects.

Key Skills:
- Experience as Product Owner or Business Analyst, including experience delivering SaaS software via APIs.
- Understanding the Agile software development environment.
- Outstanding customer-facing skills.
- Strong management ability.
- Proven track record of translating and delivering requirements and supporting backlogs.
- Experience bringing value to an MVP/Prototype, iterating to create product value.

- Both technical and non-technical communication skills.
- Strong relationship skills in the client/project sponsor/stakeholder environment.
- Experience with the following software: Madcap, Visual Studio, Balsamiq, Uxpin, Figma, FlowMapp.
