A high-end well-established software provider based in Birmingham are on the hunt for a highly creative and experienced User Experience Designer to join their ever-growing business.

The ideal candidate must be proficient in understanding the customer needs to be able to help develop commercial and user-centred products, producing products that are based around research on their users.
Responsibilities:
- Leading the development and maintenance of the user experience design to new and existing products.
- Implement component-based design systems.
- Organise and conduct user experience with various techniques.
- Facilitate user experience workshops in order to create deliverables including personas and user journeys.
- Producing clear designs across mobile, desktops and websites.
- Use data to make informed decisions and recommendations.
- Generate and communicate actionable insights, both verbally and visually.
- Evaluate designs through user testing in a natural environment.
- Observe interaction to assess how users navigate the product, accessing the behaviour, the intended use and whether solutions need addressing.
- To communicate the user experience to the solutions team.
- Develop a deep an understanding of the users’ needs in order to make the product function in the best way possible.
- Collaborate with product owners, managers and engineers.

Skills and qualifications
Essential:
- 2+ years’ experience in a user experience role
Preferred:
- A degree in Business Association, Marketing, Economics, Computer Science, Cognitive Science, Psychology, Information Science, or any other related field.
- Proficient across Adobe creative suite, Sketch, InVision and Miro
- Qualifications in Technology or Graphic Design led subject
