We are currently sourcing for talented Key Account Manager candidates on behalf of one of our valued clients working in the environmental services sector. The company is an established, leading provider of environmental services, working nationwide to provide environmental sampling, monitoring and control to help their clients get a grasp of pollution and environmental conditions on their land. As such, the company engages in a whole host of both public and private contracts, as well as working alongside governing bodies and companies that you will have heard of. The excellence of their services are thanks to the quality of the people that they hire, and as such they are looking for quality candidates for this role. As a Key Account Manager, successful candidates will be expected, amongst other things, to carry out effective day-to-day line management responsibilities, as well as being a primary point of contact for the company's various clients, and owning the account management process. The ideal candidate will have a related background, such as in utilities, environmental compliance or similar.

Responsibilities:
- Effective and responsible line management of Account Executives, including providing guidance and support.
- You will be a primary point of contact for external clients, dealing with and gaining a comprehensive understanding of client needs.
- As well as this, you will be an internal point of contact between teams at the company, ensuring good team cohesion.
- Ensuring that requirements of fulfilled by the team to a good quality and in good time.
- Provide technical support and guidance to clients in regard to their sites, where appropriate.
- Gain a complete understanding of client goals, as well as an understanding of the wider sector to enable further company success and growth.
- Be a key leader, working not only to manage, but to develop and empower those in your care.

Key Skills:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of account management experience.
- Relevant industry experience.
- Clear, confident communicator.
- Effective leadership skills.

Desirable Skills & Experience:
- An existing network of industry professionals.
- Commercial experience dealing with environmental permits and regulations.
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent certification in a relevant field.
