Financial Controller

Financial Controller ( Part time 4 days per month ) 

Colossus Associates is an IT Technology recruitment consultancy based in Central Birmingham. For the next stage of our growth we are looking for a key hire to join the management team. This is a crucial hire and is needed to help achieve a 3 year business plan. 

The role is reporting directly to the MD as we currently outsource our day to day finance functions. You will take over ownership of these functions 

Some of the duties & responsibilities 

• Monthly payroll
• Make payments for PAYE
• VAT return submission
• Cash flow forecasting
• Monthly Management Accounts
• Monthly budgets for the Leadership team
• Management of invoice discounting financing
• Monthly update of sales target Vs company plan

The ideal person will have the following

• Part or fully qualified Financial Controller / Accountant 
• A strong track record of working in sales organisations and high grow companies 
• Excellent interpersonal skills 

We are a small, hardworking company, with ambitious growth plans and we are looking for a key person who will be able to grow with the role. It is a part time position and we are flexible of days or hours worked. Our office is in Central Birmingham with the option of home working also.
